Arrived in Italy

We finally arrived after what seemed like the longest day ever, which consisted of 2 flights, 1 bus ride and 1 train ride. Florence is amazing. It is the most beautiful city I have been to. We arrived here around 3PM and checked into the hotel, we were both extremely tired so we took a nap for a few hours. We woke up around 6PM and headed out. We walked around for about half an hour and then decided we were starving. We decided to stop at a place and get some food. I got spaghetti and Jamie decided to get a whole pizza for herself, but it ended up being half mine :) After dinner we wandered around trying to head back in the direction of the hotel and we passed about 100 gelato shops so we had to stop at one of them and get some. It was amazing, I got Kinder and Hazelnut while Jamie got coffee and Nutella. We finally made it back to the hotel and are going to bed fairly early as we are still tired from the journey over here. Tomorrow we will meet up with my sister Jessica who is coming to Florence for the day. Should be a great day!
